2 and ½ pounds of country style pork ribs

2 tablespoons of salt

1 cup of barbecue sauce

1 teaspoon of ground pepper

1 tablespoon of garlic powder

Directions:

1. In a large pot, place the ribs with enough water to cover it. Season it with black pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the water into a boil and cook the ribs until it’s tender.

2. Preheat your oven to 165°C or 325°F.

3. Remove the ribs from the pot and transfer it to a 9×13-inch baking pan. Pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs and cover the baking pan using an aluminum foil. Bake the ribs in the oven for one to 1 and ½ hours.

4. Serve as is and let your guests dig in.

Grilled Hotdogs and Onion Rings

This is an easy recipe that your guests will surely enjoy. It’s simple yet delicious. The onion rings are also an added side dish that’s one of the most popular finger foods. To try this recipe, here are the ingredients you need:

For the grilled hotdogs:

Hotdogs

Hotdog buns

2 tablespoons of butter, softened

¼ teaspoon of garlic powder

¼ teaspoon of onion powder

shredded cheese

ketchup

mayonnaise

mustard

For the onion rings:

1 large onion

1 and ¼ cups of all purpose flour

1 cup of milk

¾ cup of dried bread crumbs

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 teaspoon of salt

1 egg

oil for deep frying

salt to taste

Directions:

For the grilled hotdogs:

1. Preheat your barbecue grill.

2. Make a few shallow slices on your hotdogs. This will make it easier for you to cook them. Set aside.

3. In a bowl, mix the butter, onion powder, and garlic powder together. Spread it on your hotdog buns.

4. Once your grill is already hot, grill the hotdogs first until they are fully cooked.

5. Grill the hotdog buns face down to give it a toasted texture.

Once your hotdogs and buns are grilled, serve them together and let your guests top them with their chosen condiments.

For the onion rings:

1. Preheat your oil to 185°C or 365°F.

2. Slice the onion into 1/4 –inch thick and separate into rings. Set aside.

3. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and slat together.

4. Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture. Be sure that they are fully coated and set aside.

5. In a separate bowl, mix the milk and egg into the flour mixture. Dip the onion rings again into the batter to fully coat them.

6. Place on a wire rack to let the excess batter drain.

7. Coat the onion rings with dried bread crumbs. Be sure that each ring is coated. Shake the rings to remove excess bread crumbs.

8. Deep fry the onion rings for 2-3 minutes until they are crisp and golden brown.

Drain the excess oil and season with salt. Serve them with your grilled hotdogs and you’re good to go.
